Ayurveda Helps in Embracing Your Dosha

Ayurveda, which roughly translates to “knowledge of life,” aims to maintain complete wellness using natural remedies. Ayurveda recognizes that we are made of five fundamental or “universal” elements, namely, Space, Air, Fire, Water, and Earth. These elements make up the three types of energies or “doshas,” which were introduced in the last blog: “Vata” (Space and Air), “Pitta” (Fire and Water), and “Kapha” (Water and Earth). They are responsible for overseeing how the body functions.
