Prithvi mudra is one of important Hand mudra known to us as the name suggests Prithvi means “Earth” and mudra means “seal” It activates the Earth element which is a vital element in our body which regulates skin hair nail bones muscle tissues cartilage. It creates a state of serenity. As ring finger represents “The Mother Earth” it symbolizes love, stability, calmness, composure and coolness because it counterbalances the fire element when the tip of the ring finger is touched with the tip of thumb as thumb represents fire element it reduces fire element and increases the earth element thereby creating a grounding effect on the body

Prithvi represents earth so it better to sit on the floor directly to establish a contact it will help to absorb the energy from the Earth.Sit comfortably in padmasana and join the Tip of your ring finger with the Tip of thumb and close your eyes and imagine absorbing energy from Mother Earth. Practice this mudra daily early morning for 15-30 mins to get benefit out of it
